WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT BEING A PART OF Jonathan B. Levine?
As an older participant, I admire the dynamic and forward looking attitude of the leadership and staff.

IN YOUR OPINION, HOW HAS Jonathan B. Levine CHANGED THROUGHOUT THE YEARS?
Growth with class.

WHAT IS THE VALUE OF A NICE SMILE TO YOU?
A nice smile is the essence of a pleasant greeting. First impressions count.

WHAT INTERESTED YOU IN GETTING A MASTERS IN LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES? HAS IT BEEN USEFUL IN ANY PARTICULAR WAY RELATING TO YOUR CAREER IN DENTISTRY?
My first choice of career was teaching college history. Fortunately it lost to economic necessity. I was really meant to be a dentist and dental teacher.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF BEING A PROFESSOR?
Teaching places you in the forefront of current knowledge. Teaching is a learning experience from students as well. Young people (students) motivate me.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR SPECIALTY?
It was a happy accident (my father was a dentist).

ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO MENTION IN YOUR BIO?
Dentistry is a unique health service – it is the only health profession where all of the following are part of what we do: interview, diagnostic examination, creating an appropriate treatment plan, performing the treatment plan, seeing the result and seeing, over time, in the future what the results are.
